About Conference
The presence of effective fire safety measures significantly impacts the realization of sustainability within a country. By ensuring the existence of comprehensive fire prevention systems for detection and treatment, not only lives and properties are effective, but also environmental harm from fires, such as the release of harmful fumes and gases and the destruction of natural resources, is mitigated.
The integration of fire safety practices with sustainable building techniques is paramount for environmental preservation. Recognizing this vital connection, the Kuwaiti Fire Protection Association (KFPA) underscores the importance of incorporating fire safety into the State’s development plan. By reinforcing HSE concepts, and promoting their application in protecting lives, property, and critical industries like Oil & Gas, the Association aims to bolster the sustainability and development of the State.
In alignment with its commitment to national responsibility, the Kuwaiti Fire Protection Association (KFPA) is delighted to announce its upcoming second conference scheduled for February 2025, entitled:
Enhancing HSE for Kuwait’s future
HSE principles will be emphasized, aligning with both global and regional standards, including the guidelines outlined in the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. This will involve collaboration with experts and scholars from diverse institutions to promote sustainability and enhance quality of life. The approach will include conducting studies, research, workshops, and presenting scientific and technical recommendations.
